Vintage 2021 — Schneider Baden Spatburgunder 2021 at Its Best

The 2021 vintage in Baden delivered exceptional aromatic clarity and structural definition. A cool spring followed by a warm, dry late summer created the ideal conditions for even, slow ripening — producing a Schneider Baden Spatburgunder 2021 of vibrant fruit purity, well-preserved natural acidity, and fine integrated tannin. This is a vintage that rewards both early enjoyment and medium-term cellaring

"Quite firm, slightly smoky-roasted, polished scent of black and red berries with some bread crust, nuts, floral traces and cherries. Clear, quite polished, tart-juicy fruit, crumbly-sandy tannins and some bite, good persistence, slightly smoky, still a hint of bitter wood, ethereal nuances, a hint of herbs and salt, medium power, gains fine juice with air, very good, quite juicy finish." (wein.plus)
